We did the yam-seng thing with our sparkling juice. As usual, we dragged the senggggggg for damn long then Huimin suddenly stopped us and said "eh cannot be so long! I don't want to be single forever." lol. So the next round we made it really short "1.... 2..... 3....... YAM SENG!" Hahahah!
Chit -chatted, told jokes.
Played poker (just like we're having CNY all over again).
Pressed Zhixin for the details about her date with blue flower boy and listened to Huimin's one of a kind experience with her very woodblockish cute boyfriend-to-be. HA!
Played a who-is-your-real friend kind of game, which was super hilarious!
People watched online and concluded that cute guys are always either gay, attached or dead! urgh irritating.

This was how we spent 'Single Awareness Day'. Haha! :D

10th February & 11th February

FOB wasn't that fantastic. Not as fun as A7X or SP.
Personally I enjoyed Hey Monday's set a little more. Maybe because I knew most of the songs they sang.

We did not get the most expensive tickets, but surprisingly our sit were rather close to the stage man!
The only down side of it was that we were facing the side of the stage, so we couldn't get good pictures :(
Front barricade rows are still the best! (just have to bare with the pushing/squeezing/moshing)

YES, speaking about pictures. I did something real stupid!
I brought my dad's camera (Mae calls it the 18x zoom pro cam. lol!), but the batteries were running low, and none of the extra batteries I brought worked.
Great. So I had to sprint down to 7-11 to get some.
I was running like a freaking retard when 3 cute guys saw me. Urgh.
To make things even worst, I ended up in the same lift as them!
MEGAURGH!!! Extremely paiseying can! :(
As they were entering the lift, the cutest guys went like...
"rawrr..."
"that was supposed to scare you."
Hahahahaha! Cute horrrrzzzzzzzzzz?!!
Obviously I did not reply la, too shy already. Hehehehe!

Before the show, when we were walking out of Kallang Mall (I think that should be the name), M was like "woah cute ang mo guys (points to 7-11)".
I didn't bother because I couldn't see anyone.
And then! As we were making our way to the indoor stadium, M was like "those guys again. They don't look normal." "OMG Lizanne, are they from Hey Monday?!" and I was like "oh ya! I think so!"
But I didn't know their names, I only knew the vocals (Cassadee) and the drummer (Elliot). So I just went "heh! can we get a photo with you guys?"
They commented on Nic's hoodie and M commented on Jersey's colourful bangles.
They were super nice people.
We were so lucky to be able to bump into them! (:

So we decided to try our luck at the Airport.

and Elliot remembers M, very weird cause she didn't really got to talk to him the other day.
Maybe he remembers her epic waving method or she being squashed at the corner of the barricades. LOL!

At a point of time it became really weird, but luckily Mike stood up, started a conversation and salvaged the situation.

We lived and breathed 12 hours of the Airport in hope of getting to meet FOB.
Sadly they've already left the country. Their flight was right after their show, no wonder they were rushing like hell :(
Not as disappointed as that time with As I lay Dying and Story Of The Year though.

Had a so called vegetarian steamboat lunch over at Mae's place. HA
Mark kept asking us for a few rounds of Blackjack in between, while waiting for our food to be cooked -.-
We gambled for a couple of hours, and I was the biggest winner. heh (but sadly, lady luck wasn't with me for the next 2 days.)
We played jump rope too. Hahah!
It was freaking hilarious!
Being his usual self (the everything about money Mark) suggested to add in an 'exciting' element; money -.-
1. Put an amount of money aside, 2. The person who successfully completes the number of jumps gets all the cash.
Hahaha damn stupid, it's like a sure win thing lor.

First stop, Lirong's house.
Nic was damn uptight when we were playing UNO because he didn't want to lose. lol
Played Blackjack (again) for a short while, before heading to JK's.

Continued gambling (again) the whole way through.
And JK taught me a new trick which will really make those who get it laughoutloud when they see the blank looks on others' faces.

Friday, 6/2/09

Nic's mum treated us to pizza and we had almost '$100' worth of Screwdriver.
And one thing, he doesn't really look like any of his siblings la.

Had a really fun time playing GHWT over at my place.
Together, we really make an awesome band man! :D

Our last stop; Cerella place, where we had the worst Blackjack (again) session ever!
Nic's luck was down, so he caught his last bus home.
And this was when C became a lucky-fcuk.

When I came out of the toilet M was like "Lizanne luckily you weren't here, C (banker) just got 2 ban-ban in a row!".
I heaved a sign of relief when I heard that man.
I'm so gald I chose to go to the toilet at the that time! Hahahah!
Then I decided to try my banker's luck.
Just as JK and C flipped open their cards, my eyes almost popped right out!
JK got a ban-lat and C even better, she got a ban-ban!
I felt like peeing in my pants instantly can!
Just round 1 and I'm left with less than half of my capital. Damn :(
Okay. I tried to stay positive, kept telling myself that I will win it back.
But to my fhorror! Round 2, JK got a darn ban-lat again! ARGH
I immediately swore that if he got a ban-lat/ban-ban the next round, I will rub my pad on his face! (Luckily he didn't la, it would have been so disgusting. hahaha!)

When M's luck just started to pick up and got a ban-lat, JK (banker) and C got a ban-lat and ban-ban againnnnnn!
M and I were like WTF, this is impossible!
My heart felt like it was going to come out from my mouth man.
C's luck didn't stop just yet. She was on a winning spree! Gosh.

How could someone get so insanely lucky?!

Just booked my Basic Theory Test on the 4th of March at 2pm.
Many say that it's a piece of cake.
But still, there are people who have to sit for the test for a couple of times before they pass.
So, I hope that I'll fall into the first category!
I want to pass on my first try! YES.

Each episode is filled with a different marvel, which are all super amazing!

This woman who was only pregnant for less than an hour, yet the baby she birthed was fully developed - and also aged eighty years in the span of a few minutes. (pic: notice, the umbilical cord is still attached to the belly button.)

A bank robbery which ended up having one of the thieves found embedded in a solid wall.

A killer with the ability to liquefy the human brain. (pic: the brain oozed out from his nostrils.)

A man who could generate a electrical phenomena. (pic: without knowing how to control his powers, he activated the machine and pulled the man's hand in.)

Downright freaky, but at the same time how scientific theories are able to make those possible is really fascinating, isn't it?!

If everything they showed could eventually become real, it would definitely be a breakthrough in the biochemical industry.
But on the other hand it would make the world a more dangerous and scary place to live in.

Interviewing for a part time job at Kinokuniya is the most nerve-racking one I've ever experienced man!
You have to go into this room alone and get questioned by 5 interviewers. I stress the number FIIIIVVVEE.

The plot isn't that fantastic I must say. I expected it to be something more.
Went over to Far East for some sicko bangalah hunting.
Because apparently a bangalah in red, went to smack Hui Ping's friend Becky's ass.
Sick in the fhead right?! Eeyuck, go back to your country la or go to Geylang la, they will be so thrilled to get their ass smacked man.

WOO HOOOOO! SCHOOL'S OUT! TIME FOR A CELEBRATION!

I can't believe I survived Semester 2!
After almost 5 months of intense distress, boredom-flicking affliction, laptop-staring frenzy and sarcastically-weird enterprise faci treatments.
Isn't that amazing?!

Okay truthfully, my enterprise facilitator isn't that bad la.
One thing for sure, he doesn't get paid for nothing! HA

He is the most demanding facilitator. (although we'll like it if he gives us more slack. but whatever he's doing is for our own good. I know.)
He always does more than what he is suppose to do.
He make sures that we're showing improvements. (which is what we need)
He updates us with the latest news, streams videos online for us to watch that will help us in solving the day's problem, introduces us to interesting and meaningful movies and books. (although it takes up quite a bit of time, but it's beneficial to us. I know.)
He goes through with us the correct presentation skills. (which is what we must know)
He goes the extra mile to think of new methods of conducting the meetings.
He stays back, talks to us and clarifies our doubts. (which is again all for us!)

Having said all that, I'm still kind of against him. Hahaha!
Reason being, he goes too over the top in making sarcastic remarks and facial expressions, as he thinks it's a way of entertaining us.
Sadly, too much of it pisses people off.
I know the reason I gave here is kind of absurd.
But you'll have to come and experience it on your own and you'll be fully supportive of me. I swear.

Alrighty, side track abit.
I just placed orders for my Macbeth Saturday and Macbeth Flip Flops online.
They'll take 2 - 3 weeks to process it and send it over.
I can't wait to receive them man! (:

Went to Singapore's first ever tattoo show.
Main motive, obvious. To meet Chris Garver! AHHHA!

"Hi!"
"Hi, nice to meet you!" (Shakes hand)
*Mumbles "Can't I have a photo with you?"
*Looks at me blankly. (Finally realises that I wanted a photo when he saw me wanting to put my arm around him. haha!)

*Smiles widely "Sure!!" (Pressed me very tightly against his body!)

This is starting to become just a little weird.
I'm streaming Little Nyonya online now.

It's my first time chasing a Singapore made drama to the extent that I don't want to miss any episodes and have to watch it online.
Normally, I don't get so hooked onto other Singapore dramas, because the plot is always so typical and predictable.
Missing a episode here and there would never be an issue.

This time round, Little Nyonya is exceptional.
There's always this urge to find out what will happen to Little Nyonya next, after all the injustice she suffered from those cold-blooded relatives of hers. (Though it's somehow similar to Da Changjin.)
Really engrossing mannnnn.
Funny aye? Haha!

Got only a merit for my exam. 75; 10 marks more to a distinction :(
I will still be able to skip grades though. Hopefully I'll be able to handle it.

It might be a wonderful thing for others, as turning 18 means becoming more 'legal'. But it makes me feel like I've aged so much.

Firstly, I hxc hope to win the tattoo from Chris Garver! Although the chances are really slim, I really hope that they will give me this opportunity to get inked by him and fulfill my 18th Birthday wish! *cross fingers

I wish that Bullet comes to Singapore! They've already announced their tour dates for April and July, which is like 2 months after Jakarta. But there is still no Singapura :(
They have to come! I really have to see them live, especially Matt Tuck!

Hopefully Bring Me The Horizon comes too. Oli will be able to see all 6 of us in Dropdead tees and be very very amazed! HA HA
They will be touring the whole of China, so why not Singpore!? (Not saying that Singapore is like China hor. We will never use melamine. But erm, you guys get me right?)

Oh hell yes! I really have to blog about this!
There is this fugly full timer who evolved beyond recognition. He is so much more disgusting to the extent that I think he's inhuman!

You know what?! He comes to work with lots of glitter on his hair. It was red the past few days and it's gold (I think) today. So weird la! I think he treats the glitter hair spray as if it's the normal everyday styling hair spray. Like wtf?! People usually use it when they have performances/events like cheer leading and stuff lor -.-

He likes to wear muscle tees last time. So whenever he lifts up his arm, oh man you can see this damn coarse forest. Really fdisgarsting.
I remember once the storeroom was really warm and he was shifting some stocks to a higher shelf, the sweat from his underarms started dripping. Luckily it did not hit me man or else I will bash him up, then soak myself in sanitizer 24/7! Eeeeeyuck!

The way he eats is fhorrendous!
He collects sauce cum saliva at the corners of his mouth. Seeing the gooey saliva overflowing from the edges of his mouth, forming a web to the food, makes you feel like puking instantly la. OMG!
He is also so primitive that he uses his arm to wipe his mouth -.-
Oh did I mention that his lips are so swollen like Chinese sausages! Plus there is this thick red rim around his mouth, which makes him look like a bear. And it's like he can never close his mouth properly, there is always this 20cent gap. Gosh -.-

He is a fpedophile! He trys to hit on a different part timer every sales period. He thinks he's buff so he's 'very cool' and will be able to charm us young girls. No way man! We've got taste please, go find someone your own species.

Lastly, he likes to smile hornyly to himself. When you walk pass him, he will always have this weird sicko smile. Then sometimes when he talks, his eyes will turn white. Damn freaky lor! And ya! He walks as if he's sliding -.-

Few days back, he wore this polo tee which made him glow in the dark. HAHHAHA damn funny! "Hi I'm glowing bear, I can light up the place. But of course with the help from the glitters on my hair!" MEGALOL

Everyone in the store boycotts him. Really damn turn off! Disgusting to the core! Ohmygoooooooodddddd -.-

The last stop of School Invasion Tour 2008 at Singapore Polytechnic wasn't that great. I did not enjoy it entirely. Maybe because I'm not really a fan of local rock music, I guess.

But I have to say that A Vacant Affair was downright awesome!
Stage presence all, impressive man!
Matt (lead singer of AVA) totally has the rockstar aura when he's on stage.
This was my first time seeing him life, in action and he seriously looks much much better man. He doesn't look good in photos. Haha!

The show was great! It's darn hilarious I tell you.

I ALMOST GOT A PHOTO WITH KEVIN!

I was the only one who managed to get that close to him!

I was the only person who held on to his shoulder all the way, from the moment he came out until he reached the mini bus! (I know it sounds crazy but I've got no choice.)

Lastly, I was the first person to see him get up the mini bus!

I kept saying "Can I please get a photo with you?! Can I please get a photo with you?! Just ask them to stop you for a while, please."

AND he actually stopped (although it was just for like a second or so) and was about to let me have a picture!

All thanks to the fucking security guards, they grabbed him even tighter and asked him to continue walking. Then they were like "no pictures no pictures!" Fuck lor.

So he just turned and smiled at me, as well as offered a handshake.

Of course I shook, its like the only thing I'm able to get from him :(

Honestly, I feel like ripping all their hair out, scalding them with boiling hot water and injecting mercury into their blood streams. (I know that their just doing their job, but I still can't take it. ARGH.)

The most hilarious part was when all the staff came together and sing Huimin their version of the birthday song and made her stand on the chair holding a sparkler.

Night out with GF.R helped me break free from the dull day I had.

The angmoh examiner was really friendly, which made me feel very comfortable around him. He kept smiling and saying "Thank you Lizanne" every time I completed a part. I was so much less nervous after that.

Eight broken ribs and a broken back, with another area of bleeding around the spine at neck level.
Numerous bruises, cuts and abrasions, including a deep tear to his left ear lobe, which had been pulled away from his head.

Frankly, I never liked Chin To since the day we were in the same class in Secondary One (no offence).
His actions really disgusts me and he is extremely freaky (I bet that there are others who feels the same).
As unlucky as I can get, he's in the same Polytechnic as me now! The best part is he's in the class just opposite mine this Semester! Oh god, spare me!

He did something so brainless, yet again.
Initially, I thought some students fooled around and messed the whole floor up leaving the poor auntie there to clean it up, when my friend and I stepped out of class and saw one side of floor covered with water.
My friend went to find out from her friend from the opposite class what happened.
"This guy from my class, emo, went to the toilet and cut himself."
Immediately after he said that, I asked "Is it Chin To?" and he was like "Ya, that guy la."
He simply told us one sentence, and with a single guess I got it right -.-
It's like no one else on earth will ever do such a retarded thing, no no correction foolish (ya that's the right word) thing, except for him. My god.
I looked at the floor again, omfg la there were like many drips of blood on the other side of the floor. It's like forming a trail. (Haha! Opps.)
The "trail" that we saw was just a small part of it, the whole thing was from the Gents to the classroom, and that's like F A R ok. Tsk tsk tsk.

A small part of me actually feel for him, but the rest of me is scared of him.
Apparently, he did that to attract people's attention because he was emoing about people boycotting him (tell me who will not outcast you) and the cuts were super deep, one piece of his skin/flesh came out (why torture yourself like that? jump down and end all misery instantly la, higher chance of people pitying you). Insane man!

Doesn't he know that by doing that he will only drive people further away from him, instead of caring for him?
Gosh, you are already in your twenties, quit being so childish. It will be better.

I'm feeling so shity!
We missed Story Of The Year and As I Lay Dying just like that!

Bloody hell ;(

Supposed to call for a cab at 5.45am and reach the Airport by 6.30am.
Because the earliest flight to Tokyo is at 8.30am, so check in 2 hours before equals 6.30am.
I know we are nuts, but...
When I woke up at 5.15am, it was raining super heavily. There was thunder and lighting every 5 minutes?!

On top of that that, calling for a cab at that hour will cost us a bomb! Midnight surcharge, airport surcharge all.

I went to tell my parents that I'll be leaving for the Airport. They were like "Aiyo you really going? So early, go later la. They will not leave so early one."

So we decided to take a risk and reach the Airport at 7.30am instead.

Which was a god damn wrong decision to make! ARGH

Really really prayed that they were taking the flight after the one at 8.30am.
We were trying our hardest to spot them, forcing our eyes wide open when we reached T3.
But we weren't able to spot any big groups of angmohs with many baggage's. No mini buses outside, nothing.
I couldn't wait any longer, so I went to show the security guards at the departure hall SOTY's photo and asked if they've seen them going pass.
The 'horror' came just as I asked the third security guard.
He paused for a while and said "Yes, I think I saw them. They went in already."
"Huh really?! They just went in?"
"No. Errr around 6.30am plus. Long hair, nose piercing all right?"
"OMG MAE THEY WENT IN ALREADY!"

We were so so disappointed.
I refused to accept the fact, consequently I went to ask the security guard again before leaving for good. (This time I showed AILD's photo.)
"Yes I'm sure, they went in already. You can ask that guy."
"Huh omggggg. Ok thank you."
"Who are they actually?"
"Bands."
"Oh haha. They left, they left. You missed them. You were late."

Wah when he said that I felt like smacking him and bursting into tears la!

I think that I'm going to fare really badly this time.

It's like, we got him all to ourselves man.
He was alone, no one was there to rush us.

Anyways, the show was a blast! (:
I had a great time although there were a few set backs.

The crowd went insane about 2 hours before the show.
They kept going "Sevenfold! Sevenfold! Sevenfold!", sang Avenge songs and even to the extend of singing our national anthem and saying the pledge. Hahaha!
We were all so sandwiched up. Literally breathing into each other's faces.
Damn squeezy. Damn warm. Damn sweaty. Damn impatient.
When they finally let us in around 7.30pm, everyone went mad.
We had a hard time squeezing our way through, and eventually got 2nd row.

The crazy guys around us were damn f'ed up.
We were squashed like hell and almost fell to the ground many times.
People kept stepping on my feet until I lost my shoe, luckily I managed to find it back.
Crystal, Tahqeem, his friend and I got pushed back to the 4th or 5th row can!
I am already so short, then those guys still want to force their way in front of me and kept elbowing my face! Bloody hell la!
I was damn pissed, so I hit and pushed the idiotic guys damn hardly and even bit one of them. ARGH!
I couldn't even see anything can!
I didn't get to enjoy the first two songs (Critical Acclaim & Afterlife) lor :(
It was so bad that I could not take it and decided to go to the back.
Lucky-Mae was able to anchor herself to the barricade.

It was much much better at the back I tell you.
Did not have to squeeze like hell, get pushed around, get stepped on, get elbowed, blah blah blah.
Although it was kind of far, but at least I was able to see whats happening on stage.

They performed for a very short while, say an hour? or maybe less.
Cause a local band (I think) did a 30 minutes opening for them and they took a very long time do the sound check and stuff. They should have done it before hand man.

But wells, I still mega looooove Avenged Sevenfold!

So ya, Oliver and I were the Race Secretariats, which was kind of relax and boring -.-

Yesterday was the last day of semester 1,
which marks my last day with W14M :(
For the fact that we will never get to be together again, and will be reshuffled and placed into different classes, is depressing. I'm downright apprehensive of how my new class would be like. sigh.
I'll definitely miss those days, be it good or bad.
29th will be our last get together at Jan's (our facilitator) place. I'm stoked!

After school, hung out with 10/10.
The truth or dare session was damn fun and egg-citing la. hahahahha!
Gave Michelle a very mini impromptu belated birthday celebration,
and we're still owing her a present, because we totally had no idea of what to get her - she seems to have everything and anything haha. But I hope she's cool with that (;
The worst part was when we bid our goodbyes, we almost got emotional lor. the thought of having to be separated next semester really kills.
I hope we constantly meet up and do not turn into Hi-Bye friends.

Firstly I have to say,
the people from Midas Production cheated our feelings man!
Argh, they promised us so much but couldn't deliver!
All of us were damn disappointed la! :(

1. We end up like anybody who bought tickets to the festival.
2. We weren't given any "pass" only until the second day.
3. We did not get to meet all the artistes.
4. We have to like do things haphazardly whenever we were brought backstage.
5. We were like super restricted "VIPs".
plus, it was extremely warm, I almost died from heat stroke in the crowd man -.- so s u c k y lor.....

the only few "good" things were,
we did not have to queue and were given priority to go in first and we got the weekender tickets for free, blah blah -.-

THE WORST PART WAS,
I DID NOT GET TO HUG IAN WATKINS, GET AN AUTOGRAPH AND A PHOTO WITH HIM! ARGHH
and you know whhhhhhyyy??!!
they freaking brought us backstage when Lost Prophets was performing.
so how can I freaking meet him when he's on stage!?
ok... so I requested for us meet them after their performance,
the woman said "sorry their manager doesn't approve because they will be sweaty and all".
By the time we went out, we've already missed half of Lost Prophets performance and couldn't get a good spot for good photos.
WTH LOR :(

It was scorching hot at Sentosa,
